How weinreport.at works

Wine, winemakers, heurigen, wine shops and events – a short overview of everything the site can do.

Find

  • The search on the home page finds winemakers, heurigen, wine shops, events and articles. Click a #tag (e.g. #Wien) to see everything about it. Go to search →
  • The directory is split into winemakers, heurigen and wine shops – with a choice of federal state or country and a map. View winemakers →
  • On the road? “Near me” (the target symbol next to the menu) shows businesses near you – using your location or a place you enter. Near me →
  • The calendar shows wine festivals, tastings, cellar lane festivals and more, month by month. Events can be added to your own calendar. Go to events →

Save and plan a trip

  • Every winemaker, heuriger, wine shop, event and article has a “Save” bookmark. Empty = not saved, filled = on your saved list.
  • The saved list shows everything on a map – your excursion map: change the order, choose “Shortest order” and open the route in Google Maps for navigation. Go to saved list →
  • The saved list with map is available as a PDF to print or by e-mail – ideal to take along or pass on.
  • “Recently viewed” automatically remembers what you looked at. Both stay in your browser only – no login, no cookie. Recently viewed →

Take part

  • Do you run a winery, heuriger or wine shop? List your business free of charge – with description, logo and opening times. List your business →
  • An event is missing or a detail is out of date? Write to us – we are happy to add and correct. Send a request →
  • The newsletter brings new events, offers and reports by e-mail; the monthly magazine sums everything up. Subscribe →

Read and discover

  • Reports, news and reviews of wine festivals – all under “News & reports”. Go to articles →
  • Current offers from winemakers, heurigen and wine shops – expired ones disappear automatically. Go to offers →
  • “Wine on TV” lists programmes about wine, “Wine knowledge” explains grape varieties, terms and regions. Wine on TV →
