The Retz wine harvest festival took place from 24 to 27 September 2026 on Retz's main square and began with the raising of the Heurigen bush. Highlights on Sunday were the festival mass, the parade under the motto 'Wine autumn in the Weinviertel – the fifth season' and the big fireworks display. There were also wine fountains, a wine tavern in the town hall and live music.
